	LABORATORIES Tissue Culture Laboratory The Tissue Culture Laboratory produces plantlets and seediings of various plants.  It also provides technical advice to clients interested in establishing plantations. Air and Water Analysis Laboratory Air and Water Analysis Laboratory provides services for analysis of air and water quality as well as consulatancy on environment assessment and measurement in the field. Plant and Soil Analysis Laboratory Plant and Soil Analysis Laboratory conducts chemical analysis of plant and soil samples. It also analyses soil physics. Cross-checking of the methods is conducted through the soil-laboratory network on a regular basis. Food and Feed Analysis Laboratory Food and Feed Analysis Laboratory provides services for analysis of food products such as vitamins and minerals.  It also provides HACCP Training Programme in collaboration with relevant agencies. Integrated Laboratory Integrated laboratory provides facilities to support scientific researches on biotechnology, biology, chemistry, and another related sciences. The instruments consist of DNA sequencer, PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), Eliza Reader, Spectrophotometer UV-VIS, Ultrasonic Cleaners, HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), GC (Gas Chromatography) and Regulators. Integrated laboratory also provides PCR based analysis services such as RAPD (Random Amplification of Polymorphic DNA), RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription- Polymerase Chain Reaction), and gene isolation from bacteria, plant, and animal.   MEASURING PARAMETERS   Soil Analysis N, P, Ca, Mg, Na, Al/H, pH, C organic, Texture, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, B, humic acid, and soil physical properties. Water Analysis Physico-chemical parameters including : Temperature, Colour, Turbidity, Conductivity, Salinity, Total suspended solid, Total dissolved solid, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, Dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, Nitrate, Nitrite, Free ammonia, Orthophosphate, Sulphate, Silica, Sulphide, Surfactance, Phenol, Oil and grease, Chlorine, Free Chlorine, Flouride, Cyanide, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, Barium, Copper, Zinc, Chromium hexavalen, Total chromium, chloride, Cadmium, Total mercury, Lead, Tin, Arsen, Selenium, Nickel, Cobalt, Aluminium, Sodium, Silver and Organic matter.
