	ORGANIZATION Services Laboratory SEAMEO BIOTROP tries to implement, to keep and to improve the Management System as appointed in ISO: 17025 - 2005. All activities are conducted in an independent condition, free from commercial, financial and other pressures that able to influence the quality of activities. To reach Quality Target and Policy, the Top Management has applied the qualification and function of managerial and technical personnels, beside their other fundamental responsibility, having responsibility and enough resource to implement their duties. The duty for example: implementation, conservancy and improvement of management system. In addition, they have to be able to identify the occurence of a deviation of management system and do preventive action immediately related to the deviation. Organization Structure of Services Laboratory of SEAMEO BIOTROP applied in principle constitutes the structural function of Research Laboratories of SEAMEO BIOTROP which has been modified by including other structures according to ISO: 17025 - 2005. To strengthen the management of laboratory which is free from commercial, financial, and other pressures disturbing the objectivity of examination results hence it has been formed an organization structure including the functions of Services Laboratory of SEAMEO BIOTROP poured in a Decree of SEAMEO BIOTROP Director.     MEASURING PARAMETERS   Soil Analysis N, P, Ca, Mg, Na, Al/H, pH, C organic, Texture, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, B, humic acid, and soil physical properties. Plant Analysis N, P, C, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, B. Food Analysis Proximate (lipid, protein, carbohydrate, ash, and water content). Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2), Fusarium toxin (Zearalenone, Deoxynivalenol, Ochratoxin A). Storage Fungi on maize, penauts, cocoa and rice. Tissue Culture Seedlings of Teak (Tectona grandis), bananas (Musa spp.), Abaca (Musa textilis) and other forest tree species (e.g. Eucalyptus spp., Gmelina spp. and Dyera costulata). Water Analysis Physico-chemical parameters including : Temperature, Colour, Turbidity, Conductivity, Salinity, Total suspended solid, Total dissolved solid, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, Dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, Nitrate, Nitrite, Free ammonia, Orthophosphate, Sulphate, Silica, Sulphide, Surfactance, Phenol, Oil and grease, Chlorine, Free Chlorine, Flouride, Cyanide, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, Barium, Copper, Zinc, Chromium hexavalen, Total chromium, chloride, Cadmium, Total mercury, Lead, Tin, Arsen, Selenium, Nickel, Cobalt, Aluminium, Sodium, Silver and Organic matter. Hydro-biological paremeters including : Plankton and benthic macro-invertebrate Micro-biological parameters including: Escherichia coli, total coliform. Air Quality Analysis SO2, CO, NOx, H2S, NH3, O3, CH4, Pb. Field measurements include air temperature and humadity, wind speed and direction, dust particles, and noise (dBA).
